African Perspectives on ACP-EU Relations critically examines the historical and contemporary dynamics of ACP-EU relations, which date back to 1975 and critically examines both the nature and future of the relationship beyond year 2020. The Eu-Africa and ACP-EU relations are largely guided by the provisions of the Cotonou Partnership Agreement (CPA), which contains economic and political provisions and conditionality, with emphasis on trade and development cooperation.
