Volume 4 covers 27 families from Icacinaceae to Orobanchaceae. As in the previous volumes, an updated checklist of the flowering plants of Nepal is presented based on herbarium specimens collected from Nepal and available literature and online resources. The authors have compiled information from specimens preserved in various institutions in Nepal, India, Japan, Europe, China, the United States of America and many other countries.
