This book is a reading material for extolling Chinese classic poems and promoting cultural exchanges with foreign countries. The original poems translated are all selected from the bibliography officially published by the state. This book originated from the translators English translation of Appreciation of Famous Paintings of Past Dynasties in China made by the translator for Professor Ge Lu of Peking University in 1988, and it was honed after more than ten years; review. This book contains 88 newly translated contemporary classic poems and 234 classical poems, totaling 322 poems.
