This book is Zhang Rulings fourth anthology of poetry after China Red, French Blue and Red and Blue Ruling. It contains more than 40 poems and is divided into five volumes. The illustrations are still specially drawn for the collection of poems by the world-renowned French architect Paul Andrew. Zhang Ruling, who holds doctorates from Stanford University and the University of Paris, has cooperated with world-class architects such as Charpentier and Paul Andrew, and participated in the design of architectural projects such as the National Center for the Performing Arts, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and the Shanghai Grand Theater. She is also a poet. Zhang Ruling miraculously integrates the meticulousness of an architect and the sensibility of a poet into this collection of poems, which has attracted great attention from the critics. Paul Andrew, designer of the National Center for the Performing Arts and the Shanghai Grand Theater, created illustrations for the two books.
