What happens when you face a crisis in your life? What do you do when you are suddenly widowed at age forty, and left alone with six children; three of which are under the age of ten? How do you navigate life from there?
It is not what happens to us that really is the life changer, rather it is the resulting effect of what happens inside of us, because of what happened to us. What happens to us transforms us into who we truly become.
Three months and three weeks after turning forty, Emiola became a widow
and her life changed forever. Proverbs 23, in verse 18 (NIV) says, ‘There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off’. This Book is about my mother, and how as a child and through to becoming an adult, I have been able to see the world in a totally different lens through her life - her outlook, her attitude, her resolve to live life to the fullest, despite setbacks that occurred early on in her life.
