Micere is particularly unique because of the powerful roles she has played as a woman at a time when African and Pan-African radicalism was mostly male dominated. The history of feminist global African women’s struggle is incomplete without sufficient and sustained reference to Micere’s intellectual presence and her politico-cultural participation.
