Philosophy, Ethics and Buddhist Practice-may enhance a broader understanding of Buddhist Philosophy and ethical concerns in today’s Buddhist society. It examines Pali canonical and non – canonical materials, historical and philosophical accounts and contemporary ethical and political Buddhist discourses. Each chapter convers a range of philosophical topics from bhava to ethical issues related to ‘Just Society’ in the Pali canon and contemporary Theravada Buddhist traditions of Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia.
