Amb. Donald W. Kaniaru's work is a timely account of his professional engagement in international environmental law and diplomacy. The work, based on his rich experience gained through personal actions and observations, tells it as it was and immortalizes his contributions to the subject. From his membership of the UN General Assembly Ad-hoc Committee on the Sea Bed and Ocean Floor Beyond the Limits of National Jurisdiction to Head of Environmental Law Division at UNEP and, later, as Chair of Kenya's National Environment Tribunal.
