Hasan Ali's study presented here, is a unique gift of a former citizen of Palmyra to all Palmyrenes in exile and all admirers of Palmyra around the globe. He collects here aspects of the history of Palmyra in the 20th and 21st century rarely told so far. To do so, he has interviewed people from Palmyra now living in exile, aiming to preserve their narratives and memories about their hometown.
