I am the son of Gultekin Yazgan, the author of The Blind Flight. Thanks to this book, I realized two important characteristics of my father beyond being a “person who overcame obstacles” caused by blindness and the vicissitudes of life. A curiosity that does not reject anything that is incomprehensible to his mind, but on the contrary, pursues it in order to understand and learn what it is. A passionate commitment that ignites and sustains this curiosity and allows him to finish what he has started, to go all the way to the end.
