This book, Journal of the Pandemic: Reminiscences of Two Lockdowns was inspired mostly by the unusual experiences of the COVID-19 period and the advent of 'new normals' uni- versally. The forced stay-at-home by governments worldwide provided the impetus to put the period into creative use in the writing of this book. Part one of the book, narrated in a first person style, is a record of the daily activities of the authors during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. It is also an expose of one of the authors' three-week debacles in the creeks while in captivity in the hands of his abductors. This book is a documentation of history and highly recommended to all because the experiences of the lockdown, which are worth rendering, are riveting and laced with vital life lessons.
