‘Providence: The Story of a Life’ was written to open my heart to all who met me along this life journey. My children in particular wanted some documentation of how my life had evolved! It is often a delight to see the end of a project, but it may be informative and useful to know the hidden details of the struggles involved in executing the project, making this book a worthwhile read. The episodes of my life unfolded against the backdrop of the ordinary history of Nigeria and many will find that they have had similar experiences, having lived in similar contexts.
