The Nightmare tells the story of Ozoemena, a young university lecturer, who finds the spate of insurgencies and kidnappings in Nigeria, particularly the South Eastern Nigeria, very disgusting and annoying. Unfortunately for him, he also turns out a victim of kidnap by a dreaded group whose identities are not known or how they operate or who are their associates or sponsors. Through the eyes of Ozoemena, these are revealed. Will Ozoemena regain his freedom or will he also be killed by this dreaded group responsible for most of the kidnappings done in the South Eastern Nigeria?
