One may note that this collection does not only highlight the writers but also the diversity of Kinaray-a as it migrated and developed in various locations in the country. While BPK, as a contest and an advocacy started with language standards from Antique, it has also brought to the fore not only the dialects of Kinaray-a found in Antique, Iloilo and Guimaras but also the resurgence of Kinaray-a in Mindanao, particularly Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato. This document, in this respect, would thus be a good document of the dynamism of the Kinaray-a language, or perhaps of the Kinaray-as of the Philippines.
