The book is a detailed work, containing extracts from rules, principles and procedures under Maliki School as practically as possible. This effort is supported and explained with judicial authorities and references to the various texts on Shar'iah not limited to primary and secondary sources of law of evidence and administration of justice but as discussed by other scholars across the globe. The book deals with some issues which are hardly found in other literatures on the course, particularly, documentary and electronic evidence, sources of Islamic law of evidence, lawyers and female as qadis in Islamic courts and details drilling on evidence of children under Islamic legal system. It is assumed that average Islamic law lecturers, legal practitioners, judges (qadis) and students would benefit more through reading this work written concisely, majorly focuses on one and only core Islamic law course and the legal principles incorporated through re-emergency of Islamic legal system by some states in the northern Nigeria.
