This collection of poetry is divided into four sections. The first section, entitled 'Starters', starts with a signature poem which references the author's love of cooking. The second section, 'Entrees', contains poems that are otherwordly, like something out of a story -- mostly written in a mix of rhyming and free verse, with a focus on objects and animals. The third section, 'Mains', contains mostly unrhymed stanzas that are pensive and contemplative. The fourth section, 'Sweets', contains poems of hilarity, mainly concocted about pairs of people, written with rhyming banter.
