In 1982, Dr. Montemayor passed the Medical Technology Licensure Examination as the board topnotcher as well as Physician Licensure Examination in 1987. In 1990, he took and passed the National Board of Medical Examiners in the United States. He is a Diplomate in Phil. Board of internal Medicine (1991) and in Phil. College of Physicians (1993), Phil. College of Cardiology (2003), and in Phil. Society of Cardiac Catheterization and Intervention.
