The Kedarnath Temple is one of the most important Hindu Pilgrimage sites, located in the state of Uttarakhand in northern India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples, which are considered to be especially sacred. Legends say that the temple was built by Pandavas, the five brothers from the Mahabharata epic, and that it was important site for many sages and saints over the centuries.
