This is the English version of the guidebook that introduces the whole picture of "Upopoy", a symbolic space for ethnic coexistence that was opened in Shiraoi, Hokkaido as a national center where you can learn about the culture and history of the Ainu people from various angles. The two main pillars are the chapter on "National Ethnic Coexistence Park", where you can experience and learn about the culture inherited by the Ainu people such as traditional performing arts, food, and crafts, and the chapter on "National Ainu Museum", Japan's first national museum centered on the indigenous Ainu people. It also includes columns written by Upopoy staff, tourist information around Shiraoi Town where Upopoy is located, and information on related facilities to learn more about the Ainu people. *All the contents of the "regular version" published in October 2023 have been replaced with English and published as a separate edition
