The publication titled Horanewa authored by Mr.Mahinda K. Wimalasiri considers an important Sri Lankan musical instrument that has shaped the cultural and religious practices of Sri Lanka. This is explanatory study includes valuable information about the evolution and the historical background of the instrument that includes an extensive discussion about the roots or the beginnings of Horanewa.
