In more than 20 years of Kiswahili for foreigners, I have not come across a text of such beautiful stories written by author Marc Eichen. His technique of using real insults and using language forms of the language is of the best! These three stories are a sabana mkuba in the eloquence of Kiswahili for the locals and abroad. They will greatly help teachers and students to understand the nuances of the Kiswahili and English languages, as well as the language used by the school. Brothers Suleiman Khalfan and Abdulrahman Ndegwa have also given a fair interpretation, focusing entirely on what he intended for the wings of the stories themselves. (Fiction)
