Humadapnon convinces his brother Dumalapdap to venture to sea again and find another wife. While they are away, Sumagulong attempts to steal mali from Humadapnon as part of his revenge. A conflict arises, which leads to Mali’s death. Labi-labing Anyag, Humadapnon’s elder sister, comes to help resurrect Mali. Due to shared feelings of resentment and disgrace, Mali and Humadapnon separate in the end.
