The War Inquiry Commission was appointed by the President of Pakistan in December 1971. The Commission examined nearly three hundred witnesses and hundreds of classified army signals between East and West Pakistan. The report remained classified and marked as top secret. Originally, there were 12 copies of the report. These were all destroyed; except one. Now declassified, it is a must-have for all enthusiasts of Bangladesh's Glorious War of Independence.
