Non Ban Jak is a large, moated prehistoric settlement in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Northeast Thailand. Excavations in 2011-2018 revealed that the principal occupation occurred in the late Iron Age to the early Historic Period, although evidence for Neolithic and Bronze Age occupation was also encountered. This report describes the excavation, chronology, mortuary sequence involving 200 burials, aspects of the material culture and the health of the Iron Age inhabitants. It concludes with a model for the origin of early states in inland Southeast Asia. It is the seventh and final volume reporting on the research programme "The Origins of the Civilization of Angkor".
