The exhibition, held on 14-16 February on the 3rd Floor Curve Wall, BACC, displayed more than 25 large artworks on canvas and on textile and 40 original drawings composed with a unique artistic and meditative technique consisting of repeated writing of the artist’s full name “Bambang Ekolojo Butet Kartaredjasa” as a “visual wirid” or a “litany prayer” that is given form, rather than sound.
