This collective volume explores ethnicity in Ghana in its various dimensions. It discusses how ethnicity relates to and produces conflict. It also explores the establishment of consensus and peacebuilding. The papers in this book provide analyses but also concrete examples of the different forms of conflict in Ghana, whether they result from ethnic animosities, disagreements over religious practices, competition for resources, chieftaincy or land-related issues.
