Africa has ample resources but the continent is also burdened by challenges of varying magnitudes in various nations. To empower the states and to promote all-rounded growth, the African Union was formed. But without a transparent illustration of how the continental body has been working over the years, Africans can lose faith in it especially if they see some problems persisting. This is risky as it paves way for lack of collaboration that can culminate in exemption from participation in global affairs and colonization.
