Young adult romantic thriller. When Kya Rothman's father is falsely accused of murdering his best friend she seeks the help of Mr Cohen, an old family friend. At his shop she meets Eddie Nonnies, a pickpocket out on parole, and finds herself powerfully drawn to him.
