The Last Lions highlights the alarming state at which lion populations are declining - their original range has contracted by some 85% and the world population is thought to have dropped to just over 20,000 individuals. The book includes photographs by acclaimed wildlife photographers and contributions from scientists, conservationists, game guards, activists, academics, journalists, lodge owners and leaders of NGOs.
