Patrick Giddy argues that the philosophical tradition associated with Aristotle - re-expressed in contemporary fashion by Lonergan (d. 1984) and MacIntyre (d. 2025) - is in tune with African traditional philosophy, and can be applied to various areas of ethics and to rethinking the university curriculum.
