The Language Companion is a series of trilingual volume made up of English, French (constant, languages) and other languages. Other volumes already published feature Hausa, German, Twi, Spanish, Dagare, Yoruba and Arabic. The current volume comprises English, Igbo and French. It is hoped that learners of foreign languages whether formerly in school or privately at home will also find the book handy. Topics covered are of basic and common interest to the general life of every language learner. The book will be useful to teachers and students of Translation and Interpretation Studies as well as to all categories of foreign language learners from beginner to advanced stage.
