This book is a result of three years of search, investigation and combined efforts of Omani geologists and professional Omani photographers. The book presents 30 sites with diverse geological history in the Sultanate of Oman with a brief explanation of the geology of each site. This photo album aims to give people better knowledge and understanding of Oman's geological wonders and to encourage them to maintain and develop this important part of Oman's heritage that extends back to more than 800 million years.
