This is a publication of historical depiction of Chinese in Penang. Elaborates stories of the large population of Chinese immigrants in Penang since the occupation of Penang Island in 1786 by a British man, Captain Francis Light. The Chinese immigrants eventually became one of the major ethnic groups in Penang, who share the political power after the independence of Malaysia.
