Product Description

The feminisation of poverty shows that gender and poverty are related. Nevertheless, gender and ageing are also related and can be called as feminisation of ageing from the social gerontology and gender perspectives, the ageing population is related to gender or feminisation (many older women than older men) and high poverty incidence and poverty gender related issue. Thus, the feminisation of older adults may also be associated with the feminisation of poverty and the social security especially among older women. Thus, the idea on the triangulation relationship between gender ageing, and poverty (GAP) had initiated the effort to write this book and explore more in the data of how the GAP relationships explain on the well-being of the consumers in Malaysia.
