The first version of this book was published in 2006 by Chenglo Limited, Enugu, Nigeria, under the title, Commercial Law: Sale of Goods, Hire-Purchase and Carriage of Goods by Sea. This edition incorporates some information from the carriage of goods by sea component of the first version of the book. In addition to the chapters contained in the carriage of goods by sea component of the first version which are extensively modified, the current edition covers many new subjects.
