For over 500 years, Portugal and Thailand have shared a remarkable cultural exchange known as the Luso-Thai encounter. This article highlights a gap in research, focusing on their contemporary contributions rather than just historical aspects. This work by Joao Palla Martins was published by the International Institute of Macau (Instituto Internacional de Macau) to document the history and physical identity of the Portuguese-Asian mixed-heritage community in Thailand.
